(Earth science) The Benefits Of A Prepaid Credit Card

By Peter Kenny

Over the past couple of years an increasing number of consumers have turned to prepaid credit cards for one of a number of reasons, and these plastic cards are able to offer a range of benefits to consumers. A number of providers offer prepaid credit cards and some recent additional to the prepaid credit card market include Tesco and Paypal. Like a prepaid phone a prepaid credit card has to be loaded with cash before it can be used, and once it has been loaded you can start using it to make purchases in person, online, or via the telephone.

There are many reasons why people decide to opt for a prepaid credit card rather than a standard credit card. These credit cards offer much of the convenience and ease of standard credit cards but have some key differences. Also, you should remember that there are certain charges associated with these cards such as cash withdrawal charges, and you may find that some providers charge to put money on the card and to purchase the card in the first place, as well as to reload the card with money.

There are many people that cannot get a standard credit card or even a debit card in some cases, such as those with very bad credit ratings. Life can be very difficult and inconvenient if you have to rely on cash and cheques, and often this hampers your ability to make purchases by phone or online. Plastic payment cards offer convenience, ease, and security, and with a prepaid credit card even those with damaged credit who cannot get traditional credit cards and debit cards can enjoy this ease and convenience.

Another reason why some people decide to opt for a prepaid credit card is because they want to enjoy the ease and convenience of using a plastic card to make payments by phone, online, and in person, but they do not want to risk getting into unmanageable levels of debt, which is something that often happens with a standard credit card. With a prepaid credit card the money has to be put onto the card before you use the card, and you can only use up the amount of money that you put onto the card, so you basically cannot spend what you have not got, which means that you are less likely to fall into spiralling debt.

Many parents like their kids to have some sort of financial back up in case of an emergency, but most parents that provide their kids with a standard credit card are just asking for trouble! With a prepaid credit card you can ensure that you kids have access to limited funds, which enables you to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with damage limitation! At the same time you can help to teach the kids the importance of using cards responsibly with these cards, so that they do not run into debt problems with credit cards later in life.

Three Tips To Utilize with Email Address Marketing
By Jason Rusch

What is the most important part of email marketing? Obviously, email addresses. Even if you have a newsletter created, it does not good if you don’t have email addresses to send it to. Your email marketing depends on you having subscribers for your content. If you don’t know, it’s best to have several places on your website where someone can sign up easily. Make sure they can be seen. If you want to keep readers subscribed to your newsletter, you know you must have original, interesting content to go along with an advertisements.

Yet, there are three useful tips that can help you do email address marketing.

First, realize that people can make mistakes when they type. They make mistakes all the time when it comes to typing out their email address. Your newsletters won’t go to them, they’ll come back to you.

Solution? Have a place for the subscriber to type in their email address twice. That way if there is a mistake your software will catch and they will have to correct it. While, there is a small chance that people will be annoyed with this and may forget to sign up altogether, chances are you will save subscribers than lose them.

Second, remember email addresses change all the time. Make it easy for your subscribers to change their own email address. If you can, place a link in your newsletter directing them to the page that will allow this process. Have a place on the website that will allow them to change it as well.

Third, you need to give the subscriber an option to unsubscribe. While you really don’t want this, people do have the choice to keep what they want and toss what they don’t. Inside the newsletter email, place a link or directions allowing them to unsubscribe. People also associate this unsubscribe link with spam. If it isn’t there, the chances of the newsletter being spam goes down.

Remember if a person wants to unsubscribe to your service to have it go into effect at once. Should it take a week or more to stop receiving the newsletters, the person may associate it with spam.

There are three other methods to get email addresses for your newsletters. By utilizing these three, you can increase your triumph at email address marketing.

Contest Have a referral contest. Have drawings for both the referral signups and those subscribers who referred them to the site to win several prizes.

Discounts On your website, put a notice about discounts and offers that is only available to subscribers.

Advertising Use similar websites to advertise about your newsletter as well as any discounts. You don’t have to advertise on competitors’ sites though.
