Mon ami MD travaillait au Louvre. Un jour, il re?oit un coup de t?l?phone lui demandant:”Pourriez-vous vous charger de Michael Jackson pour un tour du mus?e?”.Evidemment qu’il pouvait! Cette aventure lui laissa un souvenir inoubliable.
Quand Michael arriva avec ses deux enfants et gardes du corps, MD ne savait pas trop ? quoi s’attendre. Il avait d?j? re?u des stars, comme Mick Jagger ou Bruce Willis, et de multiples politiciens n?cessitant une visite personalis?e du mus?e.
Cette star-ci ?tait tout ? fait diff?rente. Diff?rente parce que Michael Jackson avait l’?me d’un enfant. Il s’amusait avec les escaliers roulants montant ? essayer de les descendre, il courrait dans les couloirs pour jouer ? cache-cache.
“Il ?tait tr?s souriant et gentil avec tout le monde” dit MD,”je n’avais jamais rencontr? quelqu’un comme lui”.”Il ?tait aussi d’une sensibilit? extr?me. Quand il aimait une oeuvre, il ?tait tellement ?mu qu’il se mettait ? pleurer. Quand je lui ai montr? la Joconde, il a fondu en larme et nous avons du faire une pause pour qu’il r?cup?re ses esprits.”
Aujourd’hui Michael Jackson nous a quitt?, cela peut ?tre le moment de se demander si nous n’avons pas une culpabilit? collective pour avoir emp?ch? ce petit gar?on de grandir normalement et d’avoir une vie plus simple. Petit gar?on Michael n’a pratiquement jamais eu ? ouvrir une porte lui-m?me, quelqu’un le faisait pour lui. Nous ne savons pas s’il a vraiment eu le choix de cette vie. Si c’?tait sa d?cision d’?tre sacrifi? ? son public. Ne fut-il pas un enfant victime de son talent unique et g?nial, broy? par l’industrie du disque?
“Il avait un charisme absolument immense et ?poustouflant”, MD raconte. “Et dire que j’?tais l? ? faire des petits mouvements de la main, comme pour un enfant, ? Michael Jackson, retourn? sur le si?ge arri?re de son taxi, qui me faisait des signes d’au revoir comme ? son meilleur ami. Je suis imm?diatement devenu un fan. C’?tait un ?tre humain extraordinaire”.
Maintenant MD travaille pour un mus?e diff?rent.
Il se souvient de l’image des couloirs vides du mus?e du Louvre dans lesquels Michael Jackson ne viendra plus jamais courrir.

The event took place in association with Vicenza Fair International, Anglo Gold Ashanti and Ddamas. These alluring classy designs were carried by some of the top models of the industry, Carol Gracious, Fleur Xavier and Sonal Rawat elevating the aesthetic value of gold.
Beautiful costumes were designed by designer duo Dev R Nil. The multi talented Sophie Chaudhary was the host of the evening and allured the audiences with her wonderful performance. In her words, “beautiful costume, lovely music and sparkling gold jewellery, the combination just makes me alive. I am very fond of gold and I feel, in India gold had its own traditional value. My mother has given me such traditional gold pieces which she got from her mother and older generations. This line of designs by Gold Expressions is amazing and perfect contemporary designs for today’s women.” The lines comprised of three themes- Connect, Extraordinary and Transform. ‘Connect’ depicted the designs bridging the cultural and traditional boundaries with a mix of contemporary touch. It was a thrilling collection with colour and texture and intricate details. ‘Extraordinary’ took inspiration from ordinary forms turning into unconventional shapes. This line was reminiscent of fun with fashion. ‘Transform’ was more feminine and elegant and also softer in technicality. It was a symbolic representation of dominance of nature inspired by scientific advancement highlighting the intrinsic connection between the two. Mr Mehul Choski (chairman and MD, Gitanjali Gems) said at the occasion “D’damas gold has always been known for its exclusive designs, aiming to create aesthetically appealing jewellery for discerning Indian Women and with this collection, we link with a woman’s style and individuality.”
This exquisite range of Italian designs, gave gold a new direction enhancing feminity through a perfect mix of fashion, modernity and refinement. Puneet’s collections are a reflection of the artist and art curator within him. Each sari is a 6-yard canvas for Puneet where he paints and designs all that influences and inspires him. The creations are known to have been inspired by classical art forms such as Calligraphy, sculpture and many genres of art. The label has a varied range of extended product lines which comprises of saris, bridal wear; fusion and western clothing consisting of scarves, bags, accessories and fabrics. It also has the Tie bar, which has an exclusive collection of designer ties.
