(Earth science) Facebook Constantly Receives Investing News Headlines

Posted by admin on November 20th, 2008

By MIKE SELVON

It is one thing to create a website that allows a group of college students to interact with each other. It is an entirely different thing when that network goes global. Mark Zuckerberg knew a good thing when he developed it. His networking site Facebook quickly took the world by storm.

It allowed people from across the globe to connect and be part of a growing social network. It allowed people to find friends and share stories about their daily lives. It is also about money. Investing news stories are continuously being published about this networking giant.

Investing news stories are always making the headlines. The Facebook empire made its first headlines when Peter Thiel, co-founder of PayPal, invested $500,000 into the fledgling enterprise. Would this be the starting point for a top 10 business?

Many business experts conjectured that Facebook would join forces with a larger company to help back its financial needs. They were a bit mistaken.

Facebook makes its money, which allows it to remain a free website, through the use of advertising services. Each time a person clicks on one of the banner ads and makes a purchase, the company receives a portion of the profits. But there is a problem with that.

With revenue dependent upon you clicking a banner ad, it can begin to suffer if people do not buy through their advertising services. This is most likely why Facebook had a $3.63 million dollar net loss in 2005. It was spending more to host the website and provide services than it was bringing in.

Enter in the merger and acquisition talks with giants Yahoo, Google and other companies. These huge companies tried to enter into negotiations with Facebook and a bidding war was even started at one time. Zuckerberg issued a statement in 2007 that essentially said that Facebook would not be sold to someone else.

Was this the right thing to do? If you compare Facebook’s membership to MySpace’s membership, then you are left with the impression that it is no where near as successful. MySpace has more than double the members and is still a growing entity.

So what will happen with Facebook when its daily advertising is eclipsed by its spending? No one is certain of anything yet but with the huge net loss it suffered in 2005 it still remains to be seen if Facebook will be able to continue to compete with MySpace.

There might actually be a day in the future when it must charge membership fees. However, for now that is only a hypothesis set out by business experts. Facebook today is still free of charge and open to people everywhere.

(Forensic science) Why Every Upline Should Continue To Sell And Recruit?

Posted by admin on November 20th, 2008

By Lou Casali

What does it mean to see and recruit? And how can it benefit your business. These are the questions I will be talking about. They are as follows:

– The advantage of up line stays with exponential number of shares with time.

– Increasing the number of shares or down lines is very important for an up line.

– A successful up line makes sure that his performance or growth rate is not directly proportional to the performance of his down lines, rather it should be indirectly proportional to their performance in a small way.

Every Down Line is a Share. The value of each share varies per market performance.

Perhaps the money that anyone earns can be compared to a peanut or cricket ball or even less, even if they develop 1000 down lines (shares). Let me mark it clear These 1000 down line are not what you recruited, but what the 10 initial recruits continued to do and they ended up with adding these down lines with the passage of performance you recruited just 10.

If you stop with 10 your income will be enough for peanuts! Perhaps comfortable money to get peanuts and nothing more.

– If earning money enough for your gasoline or sustaining yourself without taking payday loans was your target; perhaps you can get satisfied with just 10 down lines.

– And remember, such a disposition is not a promise; rather it is dependent upon the performance of the down lines in your MLM business.

A real red-blooded mlm performer, the eagled-eyed marketer that is looking for life changing money performs 10 times better at this stage, which means before his primary 10 recruits can sum up 1000 people under him, he would have recruited at least 1000 new recruits (side branches) and he will continue to recruit and sell, which means he has 100 batches of 10 recruits in each batch Before his first 10 recruits can make him grow to 1000 people under him, he recruits 1000.

If he stops performing after just 10 recruits he can expect 1000 people under him from the performance of his down lines, but the same is not a guarantee. It might take even 10 years for this population to develop if you stop recruiting.

The strong one would have made 100 batches of recruits before this can happen automatically, which means he continues to recruit. So his growth rate in a few times from now will be exponential.

For 10 recruits, his target is 1000 people. The fact is that he made 1000 recruits himself?

1000 * 1000 = 10,000,000 people under him.

For 10,000,000 people under you @ just 25 cents per month/per member sales in commission to the up line you earn $250,000.

$250,000 is real money for anyone. This is the life changing money for any network marketer.

Unless you grow aggressively as said above with continuing to recruit the required down lines, you will not grow.

And anyone that says it will happen without doing this is telling you a big, big lie.

Your Question: You are lying! $250,000! The MLM bubble will burst.????? You crazy?

Answer: No, This is Banyan Tree Branching Method, there is no bubble here.

You are focusing on where the real growth is in network marketing.

Like any field there are underpaid laborers and high paid CEOs here too!

(Science news) The role of local news within society-00-889

Posted by admin on November 18th, 2008

By 4Ps_Marketing

Without local news people would have little idea what is happening in their community. Even in modern times where people can contact each other instantly on their mobile phones or via email, people still need local news to give them the whole picture about what is happening locally.

Newspapers and other local news organisations can investigate stories in full and provide the correct balance to make sure people are properly informed about events in their community and not relying on gossip or hearsay.

Local news provides people with information about a range of topics that are relevant to them crime, education, business, transport, local politics, the environment, sport and entertainment. It also helps people to understand the local impact of national events and trends.

Also, local news aids democracy by reporting on the activities of local authorities and other public bodies, thereby making them accountable to the public. Freedom of Information legislation has helped media organizations to do this.

The police are also assisted in their fight against crime, with local news organization issuing appeals to find crime suspects, witnesses and missing people.

Local news also enables people to publicise local events and activities which otherwise might receive little attention.

Because of local news, parents are able to find out what is happening in their childrens schools, road users are able to find out about any local problems, and cinema-goers and theatre-goers are able to discover what they can see locally.

Also, sports fan can keep up with the fortunes of their local clubs.

Local news organisations traditionally take a balanced and responsible view. Unlike many national newspapers they are free of political bias and make sure that stories are covered in impartial way, offering opposing factions in any debate the chance to have their say. That way, readers can make up their own mind.

But when there is a serious problem facing the local community, local news organization will take a stand and speak out, even launching campaigns when necessary. Sometimes campaigns are just to support a local charity or individual, but sometimes they are to stop something that the majority of the local community feels is unjust for example, the closure of a hospital. A local news organisation can help a lot in such matters.

Local news organisations also offer the chance for the community to have its say, through the use of readers letters, polls and website comments.

New technology has helped local news organisations to improve the service they offer to the local community. Weekly newspapers have particularly gained, as they can now keep the public informed throughout the day rather than just once a week. People are able to discover about important local events almost instantly.

The web enables the local community to immediately know about local traffic problems, the weather, school closures and major incidents.

Through nostalgia articles local newspapers also keep the local community in touch with its own history.

Local newspapers also offer local traders the chance to advertise their products and services, and conversely for people to find out about local businesses and contact them.

Why A 2010 World Cup Prediction (science news) Doesn’t Require Rocket Science

Posted by admin on November 16th, 2008

By Martin Sejas

The World Cup draw in Durban is only 400 days away now! I thought it’d be a good opportunity to think about which teams names will be in those little balls to be drawn out for the groups for 2010. Here are my predictions and why I think each team should be there:

(the UEFA section will be done later, it is the longest and hardest one)

AFC - Australia, Japan, Korea Republic, Saudi Arabia

& Iran. These are the best five teams in Asia. I don’t think there can be many objections. Uzbekistan or Bahrain will probably get into the playoff spot but they are likely to be overpowered by Saudi Arabia/Iran/Korea Republic. Two of the three teams mentioned will qualify automatically, the other will playoff and smash New Zealand.

CAF - Cameroon, Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana & Cote d’Ivoire

The final round for the CAF has taken shape. Five groups of four, with the top team in each group to qualify. Egypt and Cote d’Ivoire should not have any excuses not to qualify, they have relatively easy groups. Cameroon and Nigeria have tricky groups with Cameroon having to tackle Morocco and Togo, whilst the Nigerians have to face recent World Cup regulars Tunisia. Ghana have the threat of Mali to deal with but I think they’ll have too much quality.

CONCACAF - Mexico, USA & Costa Rica. There is quite a gulf between these three nations and the rest of CONCACAF, and its been obvious for the last ten years. They’ll get through easily, but the fourth placed team will lose the playoff, the South American team will be way too strong.

CONMEBOL - Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay &

Chile. The first three are the “usual suspects” and will definitely be there. Uruguay are looking good and will probably also be there this time, after the disappointment of not making Germany 2006. Ecuador, who usually have been World Cup regulars have had a slower start than usual. Their away form has been terrible which is in contrast to Chile, whose away form has been sound, so I’ve tipped them ahead of Ecuador. Whoever comes fifth will beat the CONCACAF qualifier in the playoff.

The UEFA qualifiers will be analyzed in another article in the future since it is too early to make a reasonable prediction. Overall, it seems that most of the teams that will be there in 2010 will be pretty much the same ones that fought it out in Germany 2 years ago. However, previous World Cups have shown that there are always first timers. Hence, surprises should expected when most qualifiers resume in 2009.
